THE GO MOVEMENT
EVERY CHRISTIAN
SHOULD BE A MISSIONARY(DISCIPLES of Jesus SENT OUT IN MATTEW 28 AND THE OTHER APOSTLES OF THE FIRST
CHURCH)
The go movement is a
change in perspective to missions and the commission in Matthew 28
Mat 28:17 And when they saw Him, they fell down and
worshiped Him; but some doubted.
Mat 28:18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence,
said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been
given to Me.
Mat 28:19 Go then and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe everything that I
have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually,
uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very]
close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).
It was a good sign that they worshiped him when they saw
him> because the reason why he was slayed and why He rose again was so he could redeem
all people and nations kindred, tongue to himself and then they might all worship him. So really WORSHIP IS THE
END! mission is the means to the end. It
is the task of the church. The obligation of the church is to see, this worship
service take place at the end.
Rev 5 :6 And
there
between the throne and the four living creatures (beings) and among the elders
[of the heavenly Sanhedrin] I saw a Lamb
standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes,
which are the seven Spirits of God [the sevenfold
Holy Spirit] Who have been sent [on duty
far and wide] into all the earth. [Isa.
53:7; Zech. 3:8, 9; 4:10.]
Rev 5:7 He then went and took the scroll from the
right hand of Him Who sat on the throne.
Rev 5:8 And when He had taken the scroll, the four
living creatures and the twenty-four elders [of the
heavenly Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves before the Lamb. Each was
holding a harp (lute or guitar), and they had golden bowls full of incense
(fragrant spices and gums for burning), which are the prayers of God's people
(the saints).
Rev 5:9 And [now]
they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break
the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood
You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
[Ps. 33:3.]
Rev 5:10 And You have made them a kingdom (royal race)
and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as
kings] over the earth! [Exod. 19:6; Isa.
61:6.]
Rev 5:11 Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many
angels on every side of the throne and of the living creatures and the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin], and they numbered ten
thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands, [Dan. 7:10.]
Rev 5:12 Saying in a loud voice, Deserving is the
Lamb, Who was sacrificed, to receive all the power and riches and wisdom and
might and honor and majesty (glory, splendor) and blessing!
Rev 5:13 And I heard every created thing in heaven and
on earth and under the earth [in Hades, the place
of departed spirits] and on the sea and all that is in it, crying
out together, To Him Who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed
the blessing and the honor and the majesty (glory, splendor) and the power
(might and dominion) forever and ever (through the eternities of the
eternities)! [Dan. 7:13, 14.]
Rev 5:14 Then the four living creatures (beings) said,
Amen (so be it)! And the elders [of the heavenly
Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves and worshiped Him Who lives forever
and ever.
Now every activity of a
believer should be toward this mission of making disciples of all nations and
people but this task was not just giving to believers. It was said to 11
disciples of Jesus. He did not tell the crowd on the mountain of 5000 people or
the 4000 of them and the commission wasn’t also giving b4 all authority on
heart had been earned by JESUS. It then gives a better perspective to the
reason GO was said to the disciples because it was a matter of delegated
authority. Hard earned authority! ( not like the cheap authorities of the
leaders we see now. No wonder they could commit important matters to just
anybody) JESUS spoke this words to disciples. If revelations 11 will be
fulfilled then< we must GO! And we must know that the real course on the
outline starts when discipleship (pattering after Christ starts) many people
has taking preaching as the major but just like in the university there are
electives we see here that the electives are necessary but the core courses are
mandatory and core courses are core!
Rev 11:15 The seventh angel then blew [his] trumpet, and there were mighty voices in
heaven, shouting, The dominion (kingdom, sovereignty, rule) of the world has
now come into the possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His
Christ (the Messiah), and He shall reign forever and ever (for the eternities
of the eternities)! [Ps. 22:28; Dan. 7:13, 14, 27.]
Rev 11:16 Then the twenty-four elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin], who sit on their
thrones before God, prostrated themselves before Him and worshiped,

Exclaiming, To You we give thanks, Lord God Omnipotent, [the One] Who is and [ever]
was, for assuming the high sovereignty and the great power that are Yours and
From the beginning
Now worship is the ultimate end but missions, is the task,
the means to the end, we must GO!
The GO MOVEMENT FOCUSES ON BOTH THE ELECTIVES AND THE CORE COURSES> we see that the university curriculum was designed in such a way
that the elective could be objective as people chose the electives they were
interested in and this helped them to boost their GP. It then means that many
people really enjoyed the elective and then as they understood the importance
of the core subject they put the same enthusiasm into the core subjects>
that is why even though discipleship is the core of THE GO MOVEMENT, the GO
movement also moves all efforts and activities to achieving one thing MISSIONS through
THE GO SPEAK JESUS
Hab 2:13 Behold, is it not by appointment of the Lord
of hosts that the nations toil only to satisfy the fire [that will consume their work], and the peoples
weary themselves only for emptiness, falsity, and futility?
Hab 2:14 But [the time is
coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the
glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. [Isa.
11:9.]
SO in other that
this might be done the lord is calling us to gear all activities toward
missions while missions is geared towards discipleship and discipleship towards
worship. That the end might become.
WE ARE USING EVERY medium and opportunity at our disposal
especially technological social mediums such as chat rooms etc and also
perspective reorientation to achieve this.
One of earliest revelation and
strategy that the lord gave us in 2011 at a 24hours bible study we held
quarterly at the STOG missions. THE NAME OF THE LORD! Pro
18:10 The name of the Lord is a
strong tower; the [consistently]
righteous man [upright and in right standing with
God] runs into it and is safe, high [above
evil] and strong. We were gathered to study to know what was expected
of us at the time when the boKO Aram and terrorism was taking over the land and
fear taking over church services such that many churches were being guarded by
armor tanks and securities. One of the things the lord reveled to us is the
power in the name of JESUS ESPECIALLY the name of JESUS.
Php 2:9, Therefore [because
He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely
bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,
Php 2:10, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee
should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
SO He gave the inspiration for the GO SPEAK JESUS> this
is the first perspective to the GO movement. The use of all possible Avenue, to
publicize the name of Jesus and to ensure that as much as possible everyone
encounters that name every day. For example on the Facebook , many people write
things on their walls every day, on their BBM everyday WHATSAPP everyday and
many more avenue. What we are saying is that no matter what the go speak Jesus
community desires to paste on the internet and chat rooms each one must include
the name Jesus. Gearing all activities, towards publishing that name and making
sure everyone comes face to face with that name every blessed they. It might
look to simple to win over just by the name of Jesus, the word but Philippians
2, 9-20 does sound simple but caries a lot of weight. before you know it this
name will be imprinted in the minds of many and will always be a part of their
days. Just like the fact that people here music everywhere they unconsciously
pick some works from the music even the ungodly music. Because of the publicity
and the way this songs fill the air everywhere many can’t help but pick them in
their hearts. SPEAK JESUS WILL fill the air with the Name of Jesus and many
will pick the name< many will stick to it. This might not be a core curse
but its an elective that will do its part of the job towards the big picture
which the end.
A type of a chat’ “im ridding today o, JESUS is ridding with
me” “ I am on my way JESUS help me” whatever we say just let the Name be
involved.
